Fire Protection Systems at SanAntonio State Supported Living Center (SASSLC) and San Antonio State Hospital(SASH) The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers IFBs for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for fire protection systems at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center (SASSLC) and San Antonio State Hospital (SASH). Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB. To be considered for award, Bidders must submit a comprehensive Response which includes all required information and documentation as outlined in this IFB to ensure the Bidder meets all requirements, possesses the required experience and qualifications, and has the capacity to provide the services described in this IFB. See Appendix A, Submission Instructions and Response Checklist. Locations: San Antonio State Hospital (SASH) 6711 S. New Braunfels Suite 100 San Antonio, Texas 78223 This solicitation is for services to provide monitoring services of all fire alarm systems. Monitoring shall be conducted twenty-four hours a day (24), seven (7) days a week, three-hundred sixty-five (365) days per year. Monitoring service shall be manned by a live operator during these times. Includes inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and fixed fire extinguishing systems including, but not limited to: detection and extinguishing system components, extinguishing agents, suppression system components, stand pipes, hoses, and pumps, to include flow switches, tamper switches, shutoff valves, check valves, Motor gong, Smoke Control, Voice Communication, Per-Action, Elevator Recall, Emergency Radio, pressure gauges, pressures switches connected to fire alarm system and any other devices which may be associated with the fire sprinkler system operation, on equipment listed on Exhibit A - Device Count.
