Renovation of a military facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The contractor is tasked with applying tinting/glazing to select windows. Glare reduction tinting is to be used for the west-facing windows. Privacy tinting is to be used for bathrooms and locker rooms. All window tinting is to be designed for significant ultra-violet light reduction to reduce heating and therefore energy usage by lowering the overall demand on air conditioning for the facility. Performance Requirements 3.1. Tasks: The Contractor shall, using industry standard techniques: 3.1.1. Install 3M Dusted Crystal window tinting on: 3.1.1.1. the upper half of (27) windows annotated as type C2 on east side. 3.1.1.2. the upper half of (19) windows annotated as type D2 on east side. 3.1.1.3. both panes of (4) windows annotated as type F2 on east side. 3.1.1.4. both panes of (3) windows annotated as type F2 on south side. 3.1.1.5. both panes of (4) windows annotated as type F1 on west side. 3.1.2. Install 3M Mirror Privacy window tinting on: 3.1.2.1. the lower half of (27) windows annotated as type C2 on east side. 3.1.2.2. the lower half of (19) windows annotated as type D2 on east side. 3.1.2.3. both panes of (2) windows annotated as type E2 on east side. 3.1.3. Install 3M Prestige 20 window tinting on: 3.1.3.1. both panes of (37) windows annotated as type A1 on west side. 3.1.3.2. both panes of (6) windows annotated as type A2 on west side. 3.1.3.3. both panes of (5) windows annotated as type B1 on west side. 3.1.3.4. both panes of (4) windows annotated as type E1 on west side. 3.1.3.5. both panes of (3) windows annotated as type G1 on west side.
