St. Louis County is requesting qualifications for an architectural/engineering team (A/E) to provide professional design services to modify an existing structure in Queeny Park to facilitate the Park Department's Administration Offices. The existing annex to the Historic Jarville House was formerly used as a museum and event space. This design will convert the existing annex area into office space to be used by the St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation staff. The renovated building will provide abundant natural light to employees' workspaces. The renovated building will meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for Accessible Design and all applicable codes. In addition to workspaces, the renovated building will have adequate restroom facilities, small and medium sized meeting areas, lunch kitchen area, file storage, thoughtful office supply storage and copier locations. Additionally, the design will include security and communication wiring, fire suppression and fire alarm systems, a platform lift to connect the annex to the historic home, exterior and interior signage, furnishings, parking, electric vehicle charging stations as required, interior and site lighting.
