Renovation of a municipal facility in Delray Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bids under the Countys Annual Contract for Roofing Palm Beach County reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any and all quotes/bids SCOPE OF WORK To replace the flat-roof per the project requirements provided below: a. Properly remove and replace the flat roof as a turnkey installation. b. Remove the existing low-slope roof system down to the Lightweight Concrete deck. Furnish and install a new Johns Manville (JM) Modified Bitumen Roof System (design basis) or Palm Beach County (PBC) approved equivalent. c. Tear off existing flat roof system(s) down to the Lightweight Concrete Substrate and cart away all debris. d. All existing wood blocking at roof perimeters, parapet caps, curbs, etc, are to be re-used. e. Mechanically attach one (1) layer of JM PermaPly 28 Anchor Sheet (or PBC approved equal) in accordance with engineering, Florida Building Code (FBC), and manufacturers specifications. f. Install one (1) layer of JM Dynalastic 180 S Base Sheet (or PBC approved equal), set in hot asphalt in accordance with Florida Building Code
