Springfield Utility Board (SUB) seeks a contractor to install underground facilities consisting of two (2) two-inch (2") poly or schedule 40 conduits for replacing existing underground electric distribution cable for the entire length of the project. The work will consist of boring and/or trenching at one locations. Location: Work will include, but not limited to, Installing two (2) two-inch (2") conduits at one location on 32 nd Street in Springfield OR. 1. Bore or trench ~200' ft. to install one (1) two-inch (2") poly or schedule 40 conduit starting at SUB Pole # (64245) at 2645 32 nd Street going North to SUB vault # (94N125) at 2655 32 nd Street. 2. Bore or trench ~100' ft. to install one (1) two-inch (2") poly or schedule 40 conduit starting at SUB Vault # (94N125) at 2655 32 nd Street going North to the northern property line at 2665 32 nd Street. 3. Bore or trench ~80' ft. to install one (1) three-inch (3") poly or schedule 40 conduit starting at SUB Vault # (94N195) at 2655 32 nd Street going NE to secondary J-Box # (94J002) at 2660 32 nd Street. 4. Contractor shall restore any roadways or sidewalks to meet City of Springfield specifications. 5. Contractor shall restore any disturbed driveways, patios or landscaping to original condition or better. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits including but not limited to City and State encroachment permits, requesting underground utility locates, private locates and is responsible for pot holing as necessary. Encroachment Permit will be required. Work to be completed by November 30 th 2024 or sooner. If this completion date could not be met, please provide a proposed completion date on bid form. SUB reserves the right to waive minor irregularities or errors contained in the submitted bid, if the intent is clear. However, failure on the bidder's part to request clarification as stipulated above shall obligate the Bidder to abide by SUB's decision as to the intended meaning of any portion of the provision.
