Renovation of a fire / police facility in Cedar City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
**As of October 7, 2024 project was awarded to Strout Roofing but awarded amount is not available.** Re-roof of Fire Stations 1 & 2 Location: 291 North 800 West and 2590 Commerce Center Drive Provide the necessary personnel and equipment to complete the re-roofing project on stations 1 & 2. Station 1 has approximately 18,877 sq ft and Station 2 has approximately 6,074 sq ft of roofing area. The bidder is responsible for verifying the roofing measurements. The removal of the existing shingle roof (solar panels and brackets will be removed by a qualified electrician prior to the job starting). Haul off all roofing debris, install GAF roof system donated by GAF, two (2) rows if ice and water shield at all eaves and one (1) row up all of the valleys, synthetic underlayment over the remainder of the roof, install GAF Shingles, install new drip edge at gable ends, install new galvanized pipe flashings on all pipes, reuse the existing roof-to-wall flashing and ridge vent system and clean up roofing debris. The roofing contractor will work with GAF to acquire all of the materials to complete the project. The Right is Reserved by the City to Reject Any and All Proposals. Any questions must be submitted to the Project Administrator Mike Phillips via email. Questions will only be allowed until 10:00 am Monday 09 September 2024 The proposal should be clear and concise, and it should provide the city with an understanding of the Contractor's ability to undertake and complete the proposed project in a thorough and timely manner. The entire proposal, including all eight (8) sections listed above should not exceed eight (8) pages. A page is defined as an 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" sheet that contains text, pictures, graphs, charts, plans, or any other graphics. There is a limit of three (3) 11" x 17" sheets which should be used in conjunction with pictures, graphs, charts, plans, or any other graphics. If an 11" x 17" sheet contains text only, it will be counted as two (2) pages. Any proposal which exceeds the eight (8) page limit will receive a ten (10) point penalty per page over eight (8) pages. A maximum total of 100 points is available for the proposal.
