The Douglas County School District requests bids from licensed, qualified companies to furnish pickleball courts at our new Douglas County School District Legacy Arena. The location included in this bid are: Douglas County School District Legacy Arena 9030 Hwy 5 Douglasville GA 30134 The Douglas County School District reserves the right to waive technicalities, to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received, to award the entire bid to one Respondent or to multiple Respondents or to make awards by group or location, whichever is in the best interest of the Douglas County School District; hereafter referred to as "DCSD", except where noted for clarity. Respondents should note that all specifications listed in this ITB are based on general criteria that the Douglas County School District feels is important for the Legacy Arena Pickleball Courts. The Douglas County School District is open to reviewing all responses for pickleball courts that may meet or exceed our needs. Our intent in listing these specifications in the ITB is to give the Respondents a general idea of the basic services and equipment we expect from this system. The Douglas County School District is looking to the Respondents provide us with as much information as possible about their particular goods and services and how it can meet the Douglas County School District needs. Any similarity in the specifications listed in this ITB document and any company's specifications is unintentional and should not be perceived as such. The DCSD is an equal opportunity employer. Submission of Questions by Monday, September 16, 2024 2:00 pm EST Response to Questions Wednesday, September 25, 2024 2:00 pm EST All questions concerning this Invitation to Bid should be directed through Electronically. The contract period will be one year from the date of award. All pricing must remain firm during the contract period. Douglas County School District reserves the right to renew the contract annually beyond the original contract period up to four additional years. Please note that Georgia law only allows agencies to commit funds for a length not to exceed 12 months. Any additional renewals will be considered optional at Douglas County School District's discretion. Contract renewals will be based upon funding and the satisfactory performance by the Respondent. The fiscal year for the Douglas County School System begins July 1 and ends June 30. This solicitation and any resulting contract(s) may contain renewal and extension options. This solicitation, any resulting contract(s), and any renewal and extension options shall terminate absolutely without further obligation on the part of the Douglas County School System at the end of the fiscal year in which this solicitation was issued and at each June 30 renewal anniversary date thereafter unless the successful Respondent is notified otherwise and agrees in writing to the exercise of renewal and extension options. The DCSD has issued this Invitation to Bid for the purpose and intent of obtaining bid responses
from qualified firms to provide pickleball courts at our new Douglas County School District Legacy
Arena. Firms wishing to furnish pickleball courts under this contract must be experienced with the
requirements and application of the products offered.
