Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lake Orion, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of the rehabilitation at two of the Township's existing sanitary pump stations including removal of the existing air ejector system and tanks, piping and electrical. Rehabilitation includes installation of new 6-foot diameter precast concrete wet well structure inside the existing steel structure, addition of a package pump station building with submersible pumps, above grade valving, and electrical components, underground connection to the existing force main and ancillary mechanical, electrical and site improvements. The existing natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch at each site will be removed and reinstalled. Sanitary sewage bypass pumping will be required to keep the existing incoming gravity sewer(s) in service during construction, along with groundwater dewatering based on geotechnical investigations. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. The Owner intends to award the Pine Tree Road Sanitary Pump Station with the Cushing Road Sanitary Pump Station being a deductive alternate. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any or all Bids and award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, to waive any irregularities or informalities or both; to reject any or all Bids; and in general, to make the award of the Contract in any manner deemed by the OWNER, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the OWNER.
