On-Call and Scheduled Fire Alarm Testing and Maintenance Question Deadline 09/17/2024 at 4:30 PM ET, All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield MA 01103 Phone (413) 787-6284 FAX 787-6295 . The contract value is estimated to be Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) per year. The initial term of the agreement is for one year. The City will also have Two (2) one-year renewal options to be used at the City's sole discretion. Only One (1) contract will be awarded for these services. The City of Springfield, through the DPBRM, is soliciting bids for a vendor to provide regularly scheduled inspections, testing, and test reporting for all of the City's Fire Alarm Systems in accordance with CMR 780 Chapter 9, NFPA 72, 2002ed, Chapter 10, Sec. 10.4.1 through 10.4.3 and NFPA 25, 2002ed, Chapter 5, Sec 5.3. The services will be performed at various City buildings and locations, as listed in the specifications. The schedule for services is to be determined after the contract is awarded to the successful vendor. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies.
