Reference Number 0000277861 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/27 02:00:00 PM EDT The proposed EVSEs shall be networked and the Vendor shall provide a web portal or other hardware and/or software systems proposed by the Vendor that will communicate with the EVSEs. The Vendor shall state in its proposal the communication hardware and protocols used for the EVSES. At a minimum, the proposed EVSEs shall be OCPP 1.6j compliant. The Vendor must demonstrate that the EVSEs can meet the OCPP 2.0.1 standard within two (2) years of order. The Vendor must provide a means, preferably APIs, to be used for the integration of the EVSEs with a variety of other monitoring or energy management systems (EMS), and shall allow the EMS to operate and control the proposed EVSES. Energy management systems are used to ensure electric bus fleets have enough energy in the batteries to cover the fleet schedules, as well as to optimize scheduling, site consumption, power allocation, and electricity. cost. The Vendor shall provide a list of 3rd party software vendors that have incorporated the proposed EVSES on their platforms. Detailed scope of the integration shall also be provided. The Vendor shall provide a list of all EMS vendors that are in operation and are compatible with the proposed EVSES. EMS procurement is separate from this RFP, Vendors shall not offer EMS as a charger monitoring system (CMS). The Vendor shall not include costs or deployment of a 3rd party CMS or EMS within their Proposal. Envari will be releasing a separate EMS tender in the future through which 3rd party EMS vendors compatible with the procured EVSEs can respond. The Vendor shall provide API support and updates on a regular basis to implement updates to the system. Data/information provided by APIs or EVSES through OCPP or other communication protocols. include, but not limited to, the following: Charger status Real-time charging rates SOC and ID of buses that are being charged, and associated charger ID Fault/error messages with chargers or charging sessions The Vendor shall recommend typical system/IT changes required at the installation site, required. hardware and software system for data acquisition and storage, available data analytics and reporting features, user interface, cloud storage accessibility and security of the data collection system. If an internet connection is required, the Vendor shall supply communication devices such as cell modems, routers, and any other devices required for data transfer. The internet connection shall not interfere with the Customer's existing communication networks. The Vendor shall also indicate whether they will be administering the data collection system or an involvement is required from the Customer. If the involvement of the Customer is required, Vendor shall provide detailed description of Customer's role in. the administration or any management of data collection system. The Vendor shall also provide information about ongoing service charges for the data collection system. A generic user manual of the data collection system shall be provided to Envari together with the proposal. When EVSE is purchased and installed for a certain Customer, the Vendor shall be able to create a training manual for the specific Customer and shall take into consideration all site specific information and the Customer's requirements. Vendor will ensure that the data collected by EVSE systems and components is secured and not shared with any other system or entity outside the Customer's network. If the data is shared or sent to a system outside the Customer's network, the proper authorization from the specific Customer shall be obtained.
