This project consists of removing portion of the apparatus bay roof and reinstalling at a higher elevation. The removal and replacement of overhead sectional doors with taller doors. Remodeling locker rooms, sleeping dorm, kitchen, living room, and day watch room. Replacement of windows and exterior doors. BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. Q And A Close9/27/2024 3:30:00 AM. online submission. Remove portion ofApparatus Bay Roof and reinstall at a higher elevation; remove and replace overhead sectional doors with new taller doors; remodel Locker Rooms, Sleeping Dorm, Kitchen, Living Room and Day Watch Room; replace windows and exterior doors. The Fire Department will temporarily vacate Fire Station #9 making it available to the contractor not later than September 15, 2024.
