Site work, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The Contractor shall utilize the in-house design plans, and specifications to upgrade heating and electrical systems in Building 306B. The electrical systems to be upgraded shall include panel boards and all attached loads and branch circuits, wiring, and conduit. Existing steam heating units and associated piping and condensate systems shall be replaced by electric heating units for spot heating and for freeze protection. Heat trace systems shall be installed for all potable water piping for freeze protection. Inspection and testing of upgraded systems shall be performed at the conclusion of work to ensure its functionality. Construction shall be phased to minimize outages that impact operations and mission support. And incidental related work at NSA-Mechanicsburg, PA. RFIs must be submitted in writing to Francis Caruso at francis.a.caruso10.civ@us.navy.mil and Alex Veurink at alexander.d.veurink.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 5 calendar days after the site visit
