As of November 6th, 2024 this project is still pending an award decision. Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements. Description: The work includes the construction of approximately: 1. Site grading, paving, seeding, storm water pond construction, and chain link fence removal and replacement. 2. Construct tertiary filtration building and associated tanks, including but not limited to: structural concrete, masonry, valves, precast plank, misc. metals, process piping, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and SCADA controls. 3. Construct chemical feed equipment and controls. SCOPE OF WORK A. The Work required under this Section of the Specifications consists of performing all labor and furnishing all material, supplies, fixtures and equipment including minor items obviously necessary for complete and functioning plumbing systems as specified herein and as shown on the Drawings. B. Plumbing work shall be in accordance with the requirements of Section 22 01 20 - PLUMBING GENERAL PROVISIONS and Section 22 05 00 - COMMON WORK RESULTS FOR PLUMBING. C. The Work shall consist of the following: 1. Waste, vent and rainwater piping systems including piping, floor drains, roof drains, cleanouts, sump pumps and connections to all plumbing fixtures, equipment, and to the drain systems outside the building. 2. Service cold, utility, hot and non-potable water piping system including isolation valves, wall hydrants, hose bibbs, water heaters, mixing valves, connections to all plumbing fixtures and equipment, including backflow preventers and connections to the potable and utility water mains in the building. 3. Plumbing fixtures including trim. 4. Natural gas piping system including extension from the gas service meter, piping, isolation valves, pressure regulator and connections to the heating systems. 5. Drain piping with connections to the water heaters, drain pans under the fan-coil unit cooling coils. D. Arrange with Gas Utility Company, CenterPoint Energy, and coordinate the installation of a new natural gas meter and regulator. Gas meter and regulator will be furnished by Gas Company. Contractor is responsible for any and all costs associated with the gas meter installations/relocation/upgrade.
