Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project is located on the East side of N. Elm Ave. across from N. Elm Pl. near the Bass Pro Shop in Broken Arrow, OK. The project consists of the rehabilitation of the Bass Pro Booster Pump Station and site. The project includes new piping, valves and fittings, pumps, generator placement, concrete work, fencing, electrical configuration and integration. Contract time for this project shall be Two- Hundred Seventy (270) Calendar days. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to BAMA. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by BAMA in the amounts equal to the Contract price. BAMA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to BAMA. Applicable additive alternates, if any, will be determined at BAMA's discretion. The lowest responsible Bidder will be notified within ten (10) working days of the Bid opening as to when this Public Construction Contract will be placed on the BAMA Agenda for consideration. Question Deadline 09/20/2024 Anyone contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Work who is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Plans and Specifications or other Contract Documents or should anything be omitted from the Plans and Specifications and Drawings, which is necessary for a clear understanding of the Work or it appears that various instructions are conflicting, then the Bidder should request, in writing, written instructions to clarify such omissions or discrepancies to the Engineering & Construction Department by email at engineering.construction@brokenarrowok.gov or by phone at (918)259-7000 x5414, no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to opening Bids. Requests for substitution of materials or equipment which require pre-approval must be submitted, along with all necessary signed and sealed plans for said substitutions, to the Engineering & Construction Department by email at engineering.construction@brokenarrowok.gov or by phone at (918)259-7000 x5414 no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the bid opening date Work of the Project generally includes the rehabilitation of an existing booster pump station located in the Broken Arrow water distribution system. More specifically, the Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: 1. Booster Pump Station a. Replace pumps b. Replace process piping c. Replace electrical equipment as needed for new pumps d. Install new electromagnetic flow meter 2. Booster Pump Station Site a. Extend new power service to site b. New duct banks c. New generator and generator pad d. New concrete driveway and site gravel e. New site security fencing & gates
