The County of Santa Clara (County) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors who can provide and deliver to the County a minimum of three (3) new 1200-ton Electric Water-Cooled Chillers for use at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC). These Chillers will be electronically driven, versus needing natural gas. The Chillers should also be able to fit into the existing footprint. The County highly desires the Chillers to be delivered no later than 24 weeks after award date. This solicitation is only for the provision of the Chillers. Any design services and/or installation services are not part of this solicitation. The Chillers covered under this solicitation will subsequently be used as part of Government Furnished and Contractor Installed (GFCI) equipment in any follow-on solicitation/s for any public works services. The County's intent is to award a single provider for all Chillers through the execution of a one-time purchase order for the provision and delivery of the Chillers and/or term contract; to include any Preventative Maintenance services agreement, should the County opt for such.
