Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

To furnish all materials and labor for the Security Alarm Installation at six (6) schools. A brief description of work in the project follows: The contractor will be responsible for providing labor and materials for the installation of GCS provided alarm panels as well as keypads at six (6) sites. GCS School Safety & Emergency Management will determine the number of keypads per site during the pre-bids and site visits. It will also be determined if the work will require the replacement of motion devices and new wiring. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A3. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
