Site work and renovation of a civil project in Berkeley Township, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

1. Evaluation of the following criteria necessary to design strip-type fine bubble membrane diffuser system: a. Evaluate and determine the eight (8) Aeration Tanks oxygen requirements for existing 32-mgd annual average daily flow. Existing flow condition include two-pass plug flow arrangement. No nitrification shall be considered in determining oxygen requirements. b. The goal is to determine the minimum day, average day, peak day, maximum month, and maximum day oxygen requirements so that there are no gaps in the ability to provide the appropriate air flow at multiple conditions that may be encountered during any one day or season, consideration of transient conditions in this effort, such as diurnal and seasonal loadings and change in oxygen transfer efficiency over time. c. Primary clarifiers effluent is a combination of raw influent and plant drain flows. d. The carbonaceous biochemical oxygen demand (cBOD) sample is collected once a day. Peaking factors shall be applied to determine cBOD values for minimum day, peak day, maximum month, and maximum day e. Evaluate aeration tanks supply air flowrates and dissolved oxygen data, including influent flows, plant drain flows, and number of operational aeration blowers. f. Evaluate dissolved oxygen sensors and meters, and aeration tanks supply air piping distribution. g. Design calculations shall be presented in a tabulated format and include, at a minimum, the information outlined in Exhibit C. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
