State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to remove tamarisk. Removal services for ornamental plants or bushes or trees including tree and shrub removal services and lop and scatter and chaining and harrow and bullhog Introduction: A private landowner in Brigham City, UT, in collaboration with the State of Utah's Watershed Restoration Initiative and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is seeking qualified and experienced contractors with the ability and equipment necessary to excavate and pile Tamarisk trees. The contractor must own or be able to obtain the equipment necessary to complete the work as specified below. The Lower Bear River Tamarisk Removal Project (approximately 40 acres) requires removal of Tamarisk trees using mechanized equipment capable of completely removing the Tamarisk from the earth and piling it in the uplands. This contract requires the Contractor to carry insurance as specified below as well as furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to remove and pile Tamarisk trees. The project area is identified on the attached Project Map. Important Dates: Contract Performance Period must be completed within: September 1, -- October 31, 2024, January 20, 2025 -- March 31, 2025. NO work may take place from November 1, 2024 -- January 19, 2025. All work must be completed and equipment moved off site by March 31, 2025.
