Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) is a municipally owned utility serving the people of Tacoma, WA and surrounding areas with power and water, along with short-line freight rail services to and from the Port of Tacoma. TPU maintains a network of facilities including hydroelectric generation facilities, power substations, fisheries facilities, water filtration facilities, water pump stations, railroad facilities, office buildings, data centers, warehouses, craft shops, and more. These facilities are located in Pierce, King, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, and Grays Harbor Counties. TPU is governed by a five-member Public Utility Board. Selected vendor will be required to provide Payment and Performance bonds prior to work commencing. The Citys payment and performance bond forms must be used.
