Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Brown's Island Connector Improvement (UPC No. 118062) which includes, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, demolition, concrete pavement placement, sidewalk, erosion and sediment control, retaining wall, timber decking, and earthwork to create a universally accessible and non-motorized route for connecting Brown's Island to Manchester. The work shall include: A. Structure and concrete demolition B. Installation of framing and decking C. Widening of the existing ADA ramp D. Reconstruction of access steps E. Erosion and siltation control F. Continued access to the Potterfield Bridge G. Utility adjustment Federal Project No.: TAP-5A27(867), TAP-5A27(987), FHWA 4708 VDOT PROJECT NO. EN20-127-091, PE 101, C501 Drawing#: O-29109 This project has a 1% DBE goal , WBE (6.9%) The period of performance for the project shall be 170 consecutive calendar days.
