Marlboro Pike Pedestrian Safety Improvements Ph. 2 Contract Classification: F ($5,000,001 to $10,000,000) Certified Disadvantage Business Enterprise Requirement: 20% This project is for the installation of pedestrian safety improvements along Marlboro Pike, from the D.C. Line (Southern Avenue) to Brooks Drive. The work will consist of the following: Installation and upgrades of pedestrian facilities (concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway aprons, and curb ramps) along both directions of Marlboro Pike. Reduction of the width of Marlboro Pike by one lane in each direction to provide median refuge for pedestrians, channelized turning movements and landscaping, and Installation of two bio retention facilities to treat run-off.
