Reference Number 0000362758 Orion Township requests proposals from qualified Contractors (Proposers) to provide recycling, yard waste, and solid waste collection, transportation, and disposal services. The initial term of the collection contract is anticipated to begin January 1, 2025. The term of the contract will be a service period of five (5) years with an option to renew for up to five (5) additional years . The Township intends to maintain the level of services and requirements as outlined in the Township's current Solid Waste, Yard Waste, and Recycling Collection contract, as amended (attached). Any exceptions or deviations from the contract must be clearly identified and include a detailed explanation. Orion Township currently has 12,736 residential units serviced under this contract.
