Reference number: 20018079 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2024-09-23 Expected contract duration without options (in months) 1 Description Following the torrential rain of August 9, 2024, which flooded many homes in the City of Valleyfield, the City had to set up a special collection program for construction materials. The quantity of materials was such that the processing centers could no longer keep up. Instead of stopping the collection of residues, the City sent these materials to its snow depot located at 333 rue Daoust. This contract calls for the services of a Contractor to load and transport the construction residues accumulated at the snow depot, and to dispose of them. More specifically, the successful bidder will be mandated to collect the residues using the equipment of his choice (e.g. shovel or wheel loader), load the residues into transport trucks and transport them to a waste or construction materials processing center. The choice of final destination(s) for the materials will be at the discretion of the successful bidder, insofar as such location(s) is (are) authorized to receive them. The tenderer must specify such location(s) in section 2, article 7 of this invitation to tender. The successful bidder will be entirely responsible for organizing all operations from handling to final processing.
