Renovation of a parking garage in Renfrew, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The scope of work for PWO-2024-27 is to furnish all labour, tools, equipment, and materials to install an epoxy double broadcast flooring system in the patrol garage bays. Approximate work area is 250 square metres of a 540 square metre building, with concrete spalling as deep at 38mm. The system and products to be supplied must list on label that it be effective for depths of 38mm minimum. There are areas of the floor slab where fluids/oils have saturated the concrete, a penetrating primer will be required in the isolated areas. The Contractor shall prepare existing floor for the installation of the new flooring system with a mechanical shot blasting unit. Install the new flooring system in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended installation process and the specifications below. Clean all work areas and remove all trash, debris, etc. from premises. Set up required ventilation & hoarding to minimize odour in staff administrative areas. Prepare the existing surfaces for coating according to manufacturer's directions. Do no apply coating unless the surface meets manufacturer's specifications including moisture level. The Floor texture/grit to be reviewed and approved by the Contract Administrator before proceeding with the work. The Contractor will provide product information, SDS sheets and colour samples to the Contract Administrator prior to start of the work where applicable.
