Site work for a civil project in Menasha, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of November 7, 2024. The village decided that project has to be pulled from bidding as they have decided to pursue a different approach to construct it.  CN Railroad Right-of-Way Harrison Utilities, Village of Harrison Calumet County, Wisconsin Harrison Utilities, Village of Harrison will receive sealed proposals for replacing approximately 2,800 linear feet of existing 4-inch ductile iron force main west of the intersection of North Shore Road and CN Railroad in the Village of Harrison. The project includes replacing approximately 1,950 linear feet of 4-inch ductile iron force main within the Canadian National Railroad right-of-way with 6-inch ductile iron pipe by open cut excavation. An additional approximately 850 linear feet of 6-inch polyethylene pipe will be constructed by directional boring under a waterway in the railroad ROW and a utility easement. Prequalification: All Contractors that supply a proposal shall be a pre-qualified contractor by Harrison Utilities. All Contractors currently on the Harrison Utilities Approved Contractors List are eligible to submit a proposal without submitting a new pre-qualification form. Pre-qualification information shall be submitted not later than 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2024 to the Harrison Utilities office. Bid Security/Withdrawal/Rejection: No bid will be received unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% but not more than 10% of the bid payable to the Village of Harrison as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance within fifteen days after the award of the Contract. If the successful Bidder files the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the Owner shall return the check or bond upon execution of the Contract. If the Bidder fails to file the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village of Harrison as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (90) days after the scheduled time for closing of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Question Deadline 09/27/2024 All questions about the meaning of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer Interpretation or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having the Bidding Documents
