All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid and all additive alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, countersigned by a person who is under contract with the surety company or bond issuer as licensed agent in the State and who is residing in this state. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana and shall be countersigned by a person who is contracted with the surety company or bond issuer as agent of the company or issuer and who is licensed as an insurance agent in this State and who is residing In this State, in an amount equal to the 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause per State Public Bid Law. 211102 - 001-24 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, to reach him at least seven days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
