The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the Construction and Demolition Department (CDD) requests proposals from qualified Respondents to render certain technical or professional services ("Services") as set forth in this RFP to provide Abatement services at various locations throughout the City. Question Deadline 09/17/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted online The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the Construction and Demolition Department (CDD) requests proposals from qualified Respondents to render certain technical or professional services ("Services") as set forth in this RFP to provide the abatement of hazardous/regulated materials to perform abatement services. 1.2. BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION OF ENVIRONMENT The City of Detroit Construction and Demolition Department (CDD) intends, through the Abatement Services contract, to improve neighborhoods and the quality of life for Detroiters through the abatement of hazardous/regulated materials to perform safe demolitions and renovations. 1.3. AWARD CLAUSE INCLUDING RENEWAL OPTIONS If a contract is awarded as a result of this RFP, it will be a City of Detroit Professional Services Contract (Attachment I). The term of the contract will be for three (3) years. Any renewal option exercised under this contract is effective only after the approval of the Detroit City Council and signed by the Chief Procurement Officer. The City anticipates multiple awards as a result of the RFP.
