Reference Number 00004224418 The City of Charlottetown is issuing this (RFP) with the goal of hiring an engineering consulting firm to complete the engineering work for the development of a Master Plan for the Grafton Street corridor from Edward Street to West Street. The intent of this RFP is to identify an engineering consulting firm to work with the City to develop a master plan for future upgrades within the corridor of Grafton Street from Edward Street to West Street. The overarching goals of the master plan will be to outline the necessary upgrades within the study area to: improve safety for all roadway users, improve active transportation infrastructure, improve aesthetics of the corridor by incorporating green space enhancements in the upgrades, and improve the flow of traffic and capacity issues. Between Edward St and Weymouth St in the area of Holland College, there is also a goal to explore options for implementing design features typical of a college campus and to promote a campus atmosphere.
