Site work for a water / sewer project in Baie-Comeau, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Reference number: 20017662 Corporation de Gestion du Port de Baie-Comeau (CGPBC) plans to replace the existing berthing system with a new floating fender system. The contractor will first remove the existing cylindrical fenders on berths 1 and 2, then supply and install 16 new 2-meter-diameter, 4-meter-long floating fenders on the front of the berths. In order to carry out all the work (including site organization and the performance tests on equipment required to issue provisional acceptance), the Contractor must schedule and use all the manpower required to complete all the work (including the correction of deficiencies) by June 30, 2025 at the latest. In addition, once dismantling work has begun, all activities to be carried out as part of the project must be completed within 8 weeks of on-site work, until final site cleanup and demobilization. The Contractor will only be able to start dismantling the existing fenders once the new fenders and their fixing accessories have been delivered to the site. The Contractor must therefore use all the manpower necessary to meet the deadlines described in this section.
