Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an "or-equal" are required within 10 days of issuance of the Advertisement for Bids and in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. The Project consists generally of the following major items: The project is located along the existing Wakefield Trail from Old Falls of Neuse Road to Rosalie Street. The purpose of the project is to repave Wakefield Trail including erosion control, asphalt paving, pavement markings, traffic control, signing, various utility work, and other incidentals. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing only. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer, in response to such questions, will be issued by Addenda to all plan holders registered with the Issuing Office. Questions received less than 11 working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
