Reference Number : 0000362741 Statements of Qualifications from qualified design professionals (DP) with law enforcement training facility experience, interested in providing Design Professional Services for a project known as Project No. GSA-2024-007 50 Firearms Training Range Improvements, on behalf of the Training Division of the CSO ("Using Agency"). Project Background: The CSO operates five Uniform Patrol Precincts, an Adult Detention Center, an Administration Building, a Criminal Investigations Division, a Training Division and the Cherokee County Justice Center. The CSO is nationally accredited: a professional standard achieved by only 3% of law enforcement agencies throughout the country. The training division plays a critical role in CSO's accreditation and continued success. This project plays a critical role in the support of the divisions mission to support and train the CSO. Project Description: The Training Division of the office of the Sheriff of Cherokee County, Georgia, wishes to make improvements to the existing 50-yard Firearms Training Range to include: Site master planning, facility programming, concept development, cost models, and construction/bid/permit documents (DD/CD) with standard construction administration (See "PROJECT SCOPE" attachment) Project Budget The Phase 1 Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) for construction of the project is estimated at $2,000,000.00. Project Schedule The project duration is anticipated at approximately 120 days for design and construction procurement and 120 days for construction, with the fully operational facility complete by no later than May 2025.
