To receive consideration, bids must be delivered to Patricia Kurze, Finance/HR Liaison no later than the day and hour mentioned above. The Town of Middlebury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Middlebury. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date and time of opening. Bid must be marked "Bid - Sand, Stone, Loam and Other Materials 2024" and enclosed in another envelope addressed to: Town of Middlebury Attn: Patricia Kurze, Finance/HR Liaison 1212 Whittemore Road Middlebury, CT 06762 Bid Proposals shall be delivered by US Postal Service, expedited courier, or hand delivery. Bid Proposals delivered via email or fax will not be accepted. The Town of Middlebury reserves the right to hold bids for sixty (60) days before a bid award decision is made The contract will begin upon acceptance by the Town and will remain in force until June 31, 2025. The Town of Middlebury reserves the right to renew this contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods (July 1st - June 30th) at the mutual consent of both parties.
