As of January 13, 2025, construction is underway and commenced in October 2024. Shelby County Board of Education (Owner) Will Receive Proposals Through Codell Construction Company (Construction Manager) to Furnish All Labor and Materials to Complete the Early Site Packages for Heritage Elementary School Addition and Renovation Project Located at 8300 Frankfort Road, Waddy, Ky 40076. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served. Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond. The Project Schedule will be issued via addendum. The contract will include liquidated damages assessed at $1,000.00/day if the completion date is not met. Successful Bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for this Project. No Bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Doc Notes: Work Is to Be Performed in Accordance With Plans, Specifications, and Addenda Prepared by Studio Kremer Architects (Architect), Cmta Engineers (M/e Engineer), Structural Services, Inc. (Structural Engineers) and Carman (Civil Engineer). Question Deadline 09/25/2024 Addendum #1-#5 have been issued as of 9-26-2024.
