Site work for a power facility in Weyakwin, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
This sustainment project is required to maintain acceptable reliability on the TC5, 72 kV line, which supplies the Timber Cove, Weyakwin, Montreal River and La Ronge substations. The project includes construction of a new T61 series H-frame self-weathering steel 138kV (operating at 72kV) line from the Tracey Road Regulator to Highway Creek Regulator as well as salvaging the existing line. SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
