Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stanwood, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Project was awarded to SEI / Neptune General Contractors in the amount of $393,278.34 The Marine Drive Flood Control Gate project involves construction a removeable flood gate over the a ross the the roadway of Marine View Drive. A concrete pillar with a sleeve for the logs will be installed on each side of the roadway. A concrete foundation flush with the roadway between the installed to support the log system and supporting braces. Curb, gutter and sidewalk with wall at the back of sidewalk will be installed along the west side of Marine View Drive and connect into the existing sidewalk. The deadline to submit contractor questions is Sept 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m All Bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this Advertisement and in the Project Manual, and said Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit in the form of a cashiers check, postal money order, or Surety bond to the City of Stanwood in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. The Engineers estimate for this project is $300,000 to $350,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All work shall be physically complete within 50 working days of receiving a Notice to Proceed. The City of Stanwood reserves the right to accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding. The Contractor shall install and maintain all temporary and permanent erosion control measures and BMPs (Best Management Practices) in accordance with the Bid Documents, Plans, Standard Specifications, Permit Conditions and as directed by the City. Such measures shall include, but are not necessarily limited to: Erosion and water pollution control for stockpiled materials. Straw bale check dams. Straw much, netting and tackifier. Baker tanks. Temporary construction entrance / exit. Inlet protection on existing and proposed drainage structures. Reinforced silt fencing. Plastic Covering. Temporary HMA Curb. Disposal of sediments and materials. Maintenance of BMPs including in the event of emergencies and as weather and field conditions dictate; and also including installation of additional BMPs which may become required as field and weather conditions evolve. Street sweeping and cleaning. ESC Lead per 8-01 of the Standard Specifications. All materials, tools and equipment necessary to meet these requirements.
