Paul VI Stormwater Outfall Restoration The project consists of pipe and manhole installation at the Paul VI outfall location, as well as the installation of a new headwall and preformed scour hole. The outfall work includes construction of a pipe and manhole to replace prevent further erosion in the area, including one (1) new manhole, pipe replacement, headwall, and preformed scour hole. Installation of a new manhole and pipe, new headwall, preformed scour hole, and erosion control blanket on the side slopes. Paul VI High School, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddonfield, NJ, 08033 Installation of a manhole and pipe for the restoration of the Paul VI Outfall. 1. Installing one (1) new manhole. 2. Installing 16 LF of 36" HDPE and 2 LF of 30" RCP. 3. Installing new headwall. 4. Installing performed scour hole. 5. Installing erosion control blanket on the side slopes. 6. Stabilization and seeding. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-2.02, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by NJSA 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58:11B26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all of the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9 for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by Socially and Economically Disadvantaged (SED) individuals. Bidders are advised the SED goal for this project is twelve percent (12%). Therefore, please pre-examine everything before submitting your bid. Where the nature or amount of change orders cause suspicion that they are being submitted to purposely inflate your bid, the CCMUA will decline payment and refer the activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. The Commissioners will take the same approach to any other subsequent request for increases to the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all minor informalities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal all in accordance with applicable law. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10) percent of Bidder's Bid price, but not in excess of $20,000, and in the form of a certified check or bank money order or a Bid Bond (on the form attached) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions and authorized Bidders are advised the SED goal for this project is twelve percent (12%).
