Renovation of a fire / police facility in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Work of this Contract comprises of slab remediation and concrete restoration of Port Hawkesbury Secure Bay, also known as RCMP Detachment H132. Consecutively, the scope also covers selective demolition and installation of mechanical duct work and electrical fittings. Bid Securities Mean a Bid Bond and Suretys Consent as Defined Below: (a) Bids Submitted at $100,000 or Greater Shall Include the Following by the Closing Date and Time: I. A Bid Bond in a Commercially Reasonable Form or an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit Issued by a Financial Institution Authorized to Conduct Business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank in the Amount of at Least 10% of the Bid Price and That Shall Be in Effect Until Forty-five (45) Calendar Days Following Closing Date. And Ii. A Surety's Consent Indicating That, in Accordance With Section 5.18.1. Of This Itt, the Surety Company Will Furnish the Contract Security Which Shall Include a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Materials Payment Bond of the Bid Price or a Consent From the Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank That an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit in the Amount of 50% of the Bid Price Will Be Furnished.
