Safety Action Plan-Chamblee Public Works. to Develop a Safety Action Plan With a Vision Zero Basis. The Goal of the Action Plan is to Develop a Holistic, Well-defined Strategy to Prevent Roadway Fatalities and Serious Injuries for All Users. The Safety Action Plan Must Include All the Components Laid Out by the U.s. Department of Transportation (Dot) in the Ss4a Grant Notice of Funding Availability Bidders must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin; Title VI of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964; and the Davis-Bacon Act. Bidders should make positive efforts to use small and minority owned businesses. FY2023 SS4A Safety Action Plan-Chamblee Public Works A satisfactory Bid Bond (in the amount of 5% of the Bid), executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, will accompany each BID. In lieu of a Bid Bond, the City will accept a cashier's check, certified check, or cash deposit in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the bidding, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid, which in his opinion, may be for his best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
