Soft Starter Replacement on Fire Sprinkler System. Question Deadline 09/23/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Cyndi Storey (839)-218-6481 cstorey@acpsd.net Aiken County Public School District is soliciting bids for replacement of a soft starter for the fire protection sprinkler system according to the specifications provided herein. Vendor must contact Scott Hunter at SHunter@acpsd.net to coordinate a time and day of installation. Before and after the installation of the new Soft Starter, the vendor will need to put the current system in test and disable all notifications, as to not disrupt students and staff. Vendor shall test the equipment once it has been installed to ensure the system will operate effectively. a) Replacement of Soft Starter 42A, 400-600VAC - no substitutions allowed. The vendor will need to disconnect and remove the old part. Vendor will be responsible for disconnections of electrical power to the control and water coming to the fire system. b) Firetrol Representative must be on site. c) All labor and travel shall be included.
