The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to seek competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to replace fire panels across Southwestern Community College's campus building in Sylva, Franklin, and Bryson City for a total of 13 buildings. Question Deadline 09/20/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Written questions shall be emailed to j_waldrum@southwesterncc.edu 1 Remove existing panels in all buildings identified below. 2 Install an open system 3 Fully test installed equipment 4 Provide Inclusion monitoring services as an option (see pricing sheet). 5 Equipment used must be a functional equivalent to the models listed below. Identify all equipment brands and models to be used. 6 Provide at least 1 year equipment and system warranty 7 Must meet all NC building code requirement 1 Early College: Remove existing and provide and install an EST IO100 fire alarm control panel and Bosch cellular communicator or its equivalent, initiating field devicessuch as smoke, heat, pull stations, duct detector, horns and strobes. Include any other devices deemed relevant to the job. 2 Balsam Building: Remove existing panel and replace with REST-IO1000 panel along with electronics, and program all existing field devices such as smoke, heat, pull stations, duct detector, horns and strobes to the new IO-1000 3 Bradford Building: Remove existing panel and upgrade existing EST QuickStart panel to an EST-IO1000 panel, including the back box, electronics, and program all existing field devices to the new IO-1000. 4 Burrell Building: Remove existing panel and upgrade of the existing Simplex panel to an EST-IO1000 panel and replace the panel along with all field devices. 5 Facilities Building: Remove existing panel, upgrade of existing FCI panelto an EST-IO1000 panel and replace the panel along with all field devices. 6 Founders Building: Removal of existing panel and upgrade of the existing EST IO500 panel to an EST-IO1000 panel, along with the electronics, and install new smoke detectors. 7 Health Science Building: Removal and upgrade of the existing EST-3 to an EST-4 fire alarm control panel, along with replacement of programmable cards up to compatibility with the EST-4 platform. 8 Holt Library: Removal and upgrade of the existing Fire Shield Plus panel to an EST-IO1000 panel along with all field devices. 9 Oaks Hall Building: Removal of existing panel and upgrade to an EST-IO1000 panel plus replace the panel electronics and program the existing field devices to the new IO1000. 10 Summit Building: Removal of existing Fire Shield Plus panel and upgrade of the to an EST-IO1000 panel along with all field devices. 11 Groves Building (Franklin): Removal of existing panel and upgrade to an EST-4 fire alarm control panel, along with programmable cards up to compatibility with the EST-4 platform. 12 Jerry Sutton Public Safety Building (Franklin): Removal of existing panel upgrade of the existing BOSCH panel to an EST-IO1000 panel, including all fire alarm field devices. 13 Swain Center (Bryson City): Removal of existing panel and upgrade to include all fire alarm field devices.
