As of August 28, 2025, this solicitation has been canceled and will rebid at a later date, but a schedule has not been determined. The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a contractor to provide, operate, and maintain a system of secure bicycle parking sheds for residents in the District of Columbia. This project supports the District's mission to provide secure long-term bicycle parking in the public space to encourage bicycling as a mode of transportation. The Contractor shall install, maintain, and operate a system of bicycle parking sheds Districtwide. Answers to Questions received on or before September 27, 2024, will be provided via a new amendment on October 8, 2024 The District Government reserves the right to refuse the services of an individual interpreter/translator provided by the Contractor due to poor performance or any other reason based on failure to satisfy the requirements of the contract. Once the Contractor is notified that a particular interpreter/translator has been disqualified, the Contractor shall not use such interpreter/translator in any Government function, unless resolution is agreed upon by the CO, Contract Administrator, or designee. Failure to satisfy these contractual requirements would be grounds for default under the terms of the Default Clause of the Standard Provisions. The District reserves the right to collect feedback regarding the performance of interpreters and/or the quality of translated documents. Both District employees and recipients of the interpretation and translation services shall have opportunities to evaluate individual performance under the contract. The District reserves the right to perform audits without prior notice which would consist of third-party review of translated documents, or review of proof of certification and proof of signage of the Interpreters Oath of individual interpreters. The District also reserves the right to initiate and monitor interpreted sessions during the contract term to assess the level of service quality and customer service. The District has the right to cancel any Document Translation Service by the requesting agency. The District can be billed based upon the number of words completed at the time of cancellation based upon what is immediately sent to the District to verify what has been complete
