Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 41,205-square-foot educational facility.

As of January 8, 2025, construction commenced November 2024. Completion is expected September 2025. All trades have been awarded. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one or more prime contracts with the Owner based on bids received and on combinations awarded. The Construction Manager will manage the construction of the Project. Multiple Bid Categories have been released. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. Contractors submitting bids for the performance of any Work as specified in this building Project should make such Bids to Kalamazoo Public Schools. Contractors are advised that the Contract as finally entered into with any successful Bidder shall be entered into with Kalamazoo Public Schools. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
