Renovation of a fire / police facility in Easley, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This will include but not limited to removal, disposal and replacement of both the main roof and flat roof portion of the old roof, removal of bad or rotten boards. It also will include the removal and replacement of the fascia and soffit of the perimeter. See scope of work at the end of this section. Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Submitters are required to submit questions via email to mdipietro@cityofeasley.com Remove to existing wood deck and dispose of existing shingles and roofing felt main Building and Front tower 2 Re-nail any loose wood. If bad or rotten wood is discovered, Provide a per sheet price for replacement and a price per lineal foot of rafter boards. Provide price per 4 x 8 plywood sheet. Provide price per lineal foot 1 x 8 board Provide price per lineal foot 1 x 6 board 3 Install 3 wide roll of ice and water shield at all valleys and around chimneys and/or skylights. 4 Install synthetic underlayment. 5 Install new aluminum drip edge along eaves. Install Starter Shingles along all eave lines and rake edges. 6 Install new pipe flashings. 7 Install ridge vent. 8 Install GAF ProStart Starter Shingles along all eave lines and rake edges. 9 Install premium architectural shingles per specifications using 1 roofing nails. Flat Roof 1 Replace approximately 400 s.f. flat roof area on rear with 60-mil TPO. 2 Clean and dispose of all loose debris. 3 Remove and dispose of all perimeter transition metal and coping metal. 4 Mechanically attach 1 layer of 1/2thick recovery board. 5 Replace flashing on/behind workable surfaces (vinyl siding/brick etc.) 6 Install a Fully adhered 60 Mil thick TPO Membrane. 7 Clean and reuse existing cast iron drains. 8 New penetration flashing and new pipe boots. 9 Install endwall flashing above larger flat roof area. 10 Install a new, colored, 24 Ga metal coping cap on all parapet walls and transition. 11 Install commercial membrane roof at rear entrance Fascia and Sofit 1 Demo and remove and replace all damaged soffit and Fascia trim 2 Repair all cracks and reattach soffits that are loose and sagging, Add fasteners to existing soffits as necessary 3 Refinish soffits and fascia Other Items 4 Refinish steel lintels at front tower Cleanup and remove all debris Provide limited 20 year Maunfacurer Materail Warranty on materieals and 5-year labor and workmanship warranty on all work
