Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Yarmouth, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The work consists of furnishing and installing a new fire sprinkler system per NFPA 13, 2016 Edition in the existing structure, including connection to an existing fire alarm system per NFPA standards. Work also includes the installation of a new six-inch diameter water service to serve the new sprinkler system per NFPA and Yarmouth Water District standards. Question Deadline 09/30/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. For additional project information, contact Steven S. Johnson, P.E., Town Engineer, at 207-846-2401 or via e-mail at sjohnson@yarmouth.me.us. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the value of the bid. A performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required. The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects, or reject any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
