The contractor is responsible for the complete design and installation of the piping including the following scope of work at minimum:
1. Install hoarding and all necessary infection prevention and control measures_
2. Provision of all required permits prior to and during construction.
3. Removal and replacement of drain line as required, some 4", 6" and 8", including installation of 3 new additional floor drains, to match existing. Piping to be PVC, sized accordingly to what is removed.
4. Removal and offsite disposal of existing material.
5. Supply and installation of new flooring, Tarkett Granit with rubber base in the salad room, and Stonhard epoxy for the rest. Owner to be provided colour options.
6. Construction clean prior to turning back to site.
7. Supply of as-built drawing. Included within this Invitation to Tender is a the work area and entrance to bring in material. It is the responsibility of the contractors engineer to confirm final dimensions, locations and exact configuration and design of the work to be completed. Work must be completed in accordance with all building codes, NFPA fire codes and meet with the approval of the authorities having jurisdiction. Furthermore, Infection Prevention & Control methods and hoarding as outlined in CSA Z317.13:22 must be followed. Contractor to submit a proposed schedule with bid indicating start date and duration of time the work will require. PMH requires this work to be completed as quickly as possible. Preference will be given to those with a shorter timeline to complete the work.
