The proposed project includes a complete upgrade to the aging flood pump station near Latourette Lane and NYS Rt. 17C in West Endicott, NY. The project will include providing new electrical components, pumps and motors, pump controls and discharge pipeline components situated in a free flood area under the pump station. In addition, a new sump pump and discharge line will be installed which will dewater remaining water in the free flood area following operation of the dewatering pumps. Also a new 130 KW emergency generator and generator controls will be constructed on an elevated platform to provide floodproofing. Other station improvements will include a new building roof, and an electric overhead crane and a paved entrance driveway and parking area. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45-days after the actual bid opening thereof, in accordance with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 105. The bidders should not include in their bid Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on the cost of the materials which are to be incorporated in the Project and which are to be separately sold by the Bidder to the municipality prior to incorporation into the Project.
