Bids for snow removal in the Town of Myersville, MD for the time frame of October 2024 to October 2027. Final decision will be made at the Town meeting on October 8, 2024. The bid should state the charge per hour for each piece of equipment that is available for snow removal. All billing to the Town must be itemized per day, per equipment and its hourly use in each billing cycle. This will be for a three (3) year contract. Bidders should be equipped to haul snow away if the need arises. They should also be equipped to spread materials in areas to prevent and eliminate icing conditions on the roadway. Successful bidder must show positive proof of liability insurance to protect the Town and themselves. This will be in the form of a statement from their Insurance Company. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The bid selected will be based upon the needs of the Town and not necessarily the lowest bid.
