Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rock Valley, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work will consist of the construction of approximately 600 C.Y. Topsoil, Off-Site; 460 C.Y. Excavation, Class 10; 2,906 S.Y. PCC Pavement, 7" and other related construction work. Location Details City: Rock Valley County: Sioux State/Province: IA The successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the Owner, and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all material and labor and protect and save harmless the Owner from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor and shall also guarantee the maintenance of all improvements for a period of two (2) years from and after the completion and acceptance of the Owner. Construction work for the 300th Street Paving Repairs project and work incidental thereto, as described in the Plans and Project Manual therefor, now on file in the office of the City Administrator. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to enter into contract with the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 30, 2024
