Site work for a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
LRAFB 3rd Street Water Main Replacement. Description: The Project consists of but is not limited to approximately 3,500 LF of 8" Water Line installation and 215 LF of 6" Water Line installation. The project also includes steel encasement, service lines, appurtenances, hydrants, connections to existing water lines, surface repair, testing, and replacement in coordination with the LRAFB as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Question Deadline 10/12/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Davis Bacon Act wage rules shall apply. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors on projects funded directly by or assisted in whole or in part by and through the Federal Government shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with subchapter IV of Chapter 31 of Title 40, United States Code. The Department of Labor provides all pertinent information related to compliance with labor standards, including prevailing wage rates and instructions for reporting.
