Seeking a qualified and experienced architectural firm to replace 500 of the Student and Faculty Apartments (SFA-Phase 1) located at 7900 Cambridge (built in 1982). The scope of this project is to replace 500 of the Student and Faculty Apartments (SFA - Phase 1) located at 7900 Cambridge (built in 1982). The Phase 1 units are two story garden-style apartments with surface parking. The goal of this RFQ is to select a firm to provide design programming and design services to replace our aged Phase 1 Housing with an appropriate mix of living options for our campus community. This project will be a multiphase process that includes the following phases: (1) feasibility; (2) programming; (3) design development & construction documents, and (4) construction administration. It is the intent that cost estimates would be gathered at appropriate milestones to confirm the plan is meeting campus needs and approved funding. This project will require a 2 step Board of Regents approval process before proceeding to construction.
